I've just upgraded to the Sandisk Ultra 32GB Class 10 Micro SD Card with SD Adapter having reached the capacity and speed of my 8gb class 6 micro sd. It is a striking card with red and silver colouring definitely distinguishing it from standard generic cards on the market. It comes with a full size SD card adapter.
I have a Samsung Galaxy SII which has a large internal memory but as a relatively heavy user I have managed to get to the limits of the internal memory for apps and was having to move more apps to the memory card. I wasn't just reaching the limit the memorty capacity but the apps I had moved across to the sd card were not always registering as being installed. After installing it into my phone I noticed a great speed increase and a better reliability in connecting to my apps installed on the memory card which was beginning to become a problem with the old card. Opening apps is quicker, as is loading media that's installed on the sd card.
I paid 19.49 for the card through Amazon, considering the RRP on this card is £50 it is at a great price at the moment wherever you get it from.

Sony to begin phased global launch of 4K LCD TVs from the end of 2012
High-resolution large screen picture and high-quality powerful sound deliver an immersive experience, offering new ways for customers to enjoy television
Sony Corporation will begin the phased launch of its latest BRAVIA LCD television, the KD-84X9005, in all global regions from the end of the year. The new BRAVIA boasts a 4K (3840 x 2160) LCD panel, in the industry’s largest 84-inch class and incorporates Sony’s ‘4K X-Reality PRO’ super-resolution high picture quality engine. This formidable combination seamlessly delivers a high-resolution large-screen picture with high-quality powerful sound to provide viewers with immersive experiences, unlike anything offered by existing televisions.
This new 4K TV comes equipped with a 4K LCD panel comprising approximately 8.29 megapixels which is 4 times the resolution of Full HD standard, and incorporates ‘4K X-Reality PRO’, Sony’s super-resolution high picture quality engine optimized for 4K LCD TV. This engine is capable of reproducing a variety of content with different resolutions, such as HD digital broadcasts or Blu-ray discs content, into stunningly crisp, high-quality images with 4K resolution. Viewers will not be bothered by the pixels and notice images are breathtakingly realistic and beautifully clear with the 60-degree viewing angle, even if they sit as much as half the distance to the screen, as compared to when viewing Full HD
In addition, the combination of ‘10 Unit Live Speaker’ side speaker system, which is optimised for this large-size screen, with Sony’s unique high-quality sound signal-processing technology achieves powerful three-dimensional sound that envelops the viewer in position-orienting tones, from deep bass to high notes. With its beautiful, large high-resolution screen and high-quality powerful sound, viewers can enjoy immersive experiences unlike anything offered by existing televisions, as if they were at a live entertainment venue or in a movie theater.
Viewers can also enjoy high resolution digital photographs on the large screen, by blowing up scenic pictures into large poster sizes, or enlarging photos of children into life-sized pictures for the whole family to see. Furthermore, special ‘PlayMemories Studio’ available during March 2013, a special ‘PlayStation®3 software, enables users to organize and playpack high resolution photographs with ease and comfort on the 4K television. Going forward, Sony aims to offer new television viewing styles by continuing to provide these kinds of new consumer experiences.
Sony has been involved in building the 4K content viewing and creating environment in the professional field, from rolling out its 4K digital cinema projectors to movie theaters throughout the world, to preparing a range of production equipment, including the flagship CineAlta ‘F65’ camera capable of shooting 4K content. In the consumer electronic field, Sony has released the ‘VPL-VW1000ES’ home theater projector for family use which has been very favorably received.
Sony will strive to strengthen its ‘BRAVIA products with the release of the kind of high-resolution, large-screen 4K TV, which maximizes its technical prowess in the field of 4K, and offers new ways to enjoy television.

Samsung Apps becomes preferred SMART TV platform for consumers, content providers and developers
At CES 2012 Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, the UK’s number one TV brand with the most awarded TV range, announces new milestones for its Smart TV platform, Samsung Apps, as well as new apps and services that deliver even richer entertainment options for the largest screen in the home.
With more than 1400 apps available and average daily downloads of 50000 worldwide, Samsung Apps has become the Smart TV platform of choice for application developers and premium content brands.
Consumers have increasingly turned to their TVs for streaming video content, as well as for apps that offer interactive and customised content that cater for their passion for music, sports, fitness, social networking or news.
Globally Samsung expects to hit 15 million app downloads by January 2012, a 50 per cent increase from its previous milestone of 10 million, set in October 2011.
Robert King, Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung UK, said, “With over 80% of consumers interested in Smart TV, there is a growing need to extend the availability of content and apps to other screens in the home. Samsung’s connected ecosystem, including Smart TV’s, Smartphones, Smart Cameras and even Smart Appliances can meet this need, while our platform has evolved dramatically in 2012 to further enhance the experience.”
Samsung has redesigned its Smart Hub user interface to offer a much more intuitive experience. The new Smart Hub is in full HD and is streamlined to offer users a more intuitive way to search and discover content via Smart Interactions. Consumers can navigate the interface using Voice Control, Motion Control and Face Recognition for a seamless experience never before available on a TV.
The new Smart Hub also offers true multi-tasking capabilities – users can switch between web pages thanks to a new tabbed web browser, toggle between apps and download multiple apps simultaneously.
In addition, Samsung’s new AllShare Play allows content to be shared across DLNA-certified devices. AllShare Play offers web storage so users can upload and share multimedia content between devices such as TVs, cameras, smartphones, laptops and PCs, regardless of where they are in the world.
To help bring the family back together in the living room, Samsung is launching several first-of-its-kind signature services that redefine what the TV can do for consumers.
Samsung’s Family Story allows families to share content through cloud-based storage. Family members can share photos, create slide shows, post memos and schedule events. They can access this content in and outside the home through their smartphones, tablets, PCs and Samsung Smart TVs. Device compatibility will also be expanded to include LCD refrigerators and digital cameras in the future. Family members can also share photos in real-time by pushing photos to each member's TV screen through a ‘live chat’ feature, so keeping in touch with families has become much easier no matter where loved ones are.
Fitness helps users track their fitness progress through indoor and outdoor activities in a more organised way. In addition to a diverse range of fitness content, users can connect their Samsung smartphone to their Smart TV using a mobile fitness app. They can also connect a Withings WiFi scale to their Samsung Smart TVs to help them track and monitor their weight progress. With selected apps, the TV’s built-in camera will create a virtual mirror so users they can check their exercise poses against the instructor.
Families can also access a variety of educational video-on-demand content through Kids, which includes a feature where parents can reward their children with stickers and monitor their TV time.
