E-Readers

OK, here we go with a quick round-up of the top e-readers on Amazon at the moment. These are interesting devices that fill an interesting niche at the moment. They're a reading tablet with a low power LCD screen that's designed for maximum battery life and to look as much like a sheet of paper as possible. Many are purely off-line meaning you have to upload content to them from a PC, although some are now available with Wifi and 3G connectivity so you can download new reading material while out and about. Most of the original and most popular ones sported a monochrome display that was designed to look more like paper, the distinction between an e-reader and a tablet PC are merging with the emergence of full colour displays and the use of the Android operating system that turns the humble e-reader into a fully fledged internet tablet. Here is just a few suggestions that came to the top of the Amazon search I just ran.
